DOTNET Developer (.NET Developer)

Client is seeking qualified persons to fill the role of Microsoft .NET Developer / Project Manager. Team approach, professional, consulting environment with ongoing opportunities for continuing education.
Successful developers have a technology background with a desire to contribute toward business functions in state government. Qualified persons must have a minimum of 4 years experience in IT, and an IT-related AA or BS/BA degree. Alternatively, qualified candidates must have a minimum of 8 years experience in IT.
IT Professional Skills
- Must have strong oral and written communication, customer service and time management skills.
- Must have expertise in IT project management, including the ability to develop, track and manage project work plans.
- Must be able to work effectively with a team to accomplish team projects and solve technical problems.
- Must have the ability to conceive and/or develop creative solutions and possess strong problem-solving skills.
- Must have experience working within outlined standards.
- Must be able to quickly and efficiently manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to mentor other employees considered a plus.
- Preference may be given for technical writing experience.
Microsoft .NET Developer Skills
- Qualified persons must have a minimum of 3 years development experience on a Microsoft platform using VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Studio 2005 or later, MS SQL Server 2005 or later, VBScript, JAVAScript and HTML.
- Must have expertise in designing and implementing web-based and/or custom applications using a Microsoft platform.
- Must have experience in the application/systems development life cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, training and maintenance.
- Preference may be given to candidates with experience in AJAX, XML, SSIS, Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest, and/or CrystalReports Designer.
