Analytical Solutions Developer

We are looking for bright and energetic individuals to fill our Analytical Solution Developer position.— This position involves designing, developing, implementing, and support of complex SAS and SQL solutions for our Enterprise Data Warehouse— solution.

Description

• Participate as a member of a creative team by contributing to all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to support Clinical Integration initiatives and— strategies.—
• Collaborates with development teams to provide benchmarked solutions to projects or the client needs, including technical design, problem resolution, implementation, and operational— issues.
• Identifies problems and suggests strategies for enhancements to clinical applications in accordance with current systems and architecture— standards.
• Responsible for the migration, integration and warehousing of data from applications within the organization as well as external data sources into the Enterprise Data Warehouse for use by clinical analytical applications and reporting— tools.
• Develops test programs and performs validation procedures to ensure data— quality.
• Ability to evaluate and mine data to determine issues and logical— solutions.
• Work proactively with team members to strategize on flexible and efficient solutions, cross-training, and knowledge— transfer.
• Contribute to the standardization and documentation of solution— processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor…s degree, preferably in Business, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or a Health Care— field.
• 5+ years of SAS design and development— experience
• 5+ years of SAS Macros experience— required.
• 5+ years in using SQL to extract, transform, and load data with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Teradata,— etc.
• Experience with— SDLC
• Experience analyzing healthcare data, solving technical business challenges with technology, and/or using analytic tools to solve those problems in the Healthcare— Industry.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team on multiple, concurrent projects or— tasks
• Demonstrated good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining— solutions
• Ability to conceptualize client or business needs, then translate and communicate effectively into specific SAS solution— strategies.—
• Communicates effectively, efficiently, and— professionally.
